Job summary

Michaels in Traverse City, MI is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. The role focuses on accurate pricing, timely promotions, and maintaining a customer-ready store environment through effective workload planning and stock management.

You will lead pricing accuracy, promotions, and in-store standards while partnering with store leadership on staffing and executing

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience
• Experience driving merchandising and store operations in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage truck processing, inventory routines, planograms and visual standards

Responsibilities

• Lead truck execution processes and merchandise flow to the sales floor
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership
• Oversee inventory control, stock movement and in-stock optimization
• Execute price changes, promotional signage and product placement
• Support Ship from Store fulfillment, RTVs and ASN receiving
• Maintain store appearance, backroom organization and customer readiness
