Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Austin, TX is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead merchandising and store operations. You will drive truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, pricing integrity, and visual standards to keep the store customer-ready.

You will guide SOP compliance, provide MOD coverage, oversee stock flow and in-stock levels, and coach teammates to deliver great customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of SOPs, merchandising, and store operations.
• Ability to supervise and coach a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead truck processing and ensure timely merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Plan workload and staffing with store leadership to meet business goals.
• Drive in-stock optimization and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain pricing accuracy and timely promotional sign-age and execution.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage to ensure service and operations continuity.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and accurate stock movement.
• Manage RTVs, ASN receiving, and inventory adjustments as needed.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
