Job summary

TJ Maxx in South Hill, VA is seeking a team-oriented associate to execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring efficient processing and a strong customer experience.

You’ll train teammates, manage backroom organization, and support store priorities while upholding safety and store policies. A flexible schedule and prior retail experience are preferred; competitive pay and a robust benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively.
• Ensures an excellent customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
• Orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
• Trains and mentors Associates on established merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor.
• Monitors productivity of team and coaches as necessary.
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
