Job summary

TJ Maxx at TJX Companies is seeking a Receiving/Merchandising Associate in Houston, TX. You will execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensure efficient processing by associates, and deliver an outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will orchestrate truck deliveries, train and mentor associates, guarantee proper tagging and stocking, and support backroom organization while maintaining clean, safe, and organized store operations.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Executing receiving and merchandising standards; ensuring associates process efficiently and provide excellent customer service
• Orchestrates truck delivery and prioritizes processing of merchandise onto the sales floor
• Trains and mentors associates on merchandising and processing principles
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Maintains backstock organization and supports stock replenishment
• Keeps store areas clean, safe, and in alignment with signage standards
