Job Description
Opportunity: Grow Your Career

Responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring efficient processing by Associates, and working as a team. Maintains an excellent customer experience by engaging with customers and keeping the store clean and organized. Role models exceptional customer service.

  • Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
  • Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality
  • Coordinates truck deliveries and prioritizes merchandise processing onto the sales floor
  • Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles
  • Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
  • Communicates with the Coordinator on Duty for smooth flow of goods
  • Ensures tasks are completed according to store plans; prioritizes as needed
  • Monitors team productivity and coaches accordingly
  • Organizes back stock for easy replenishment
  • Upholds merchandising philosophy and signage standards
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization standards in the backroom
  • Ensures compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs
  • Communicates effectively with management and team members about priorities and progress
  • Provides and receives recognition and constructive feedback
  • Partners with Management for Associate training needs
  • Adheres to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
  • Promotes credit and loyalty programs
  • Supports store shrink reduction initiatives
  • Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
  • Performs other duties as assigned
