Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Pittsfield, MA is seeking a store associate to execute receiving and merchandising standards and ensure a safe, organized sales floor. You will interact with customers, support team members, and help maintain efficient stock flow.

You will train others, manage backroom processes, and uphold safety and merchandising guidelines while working a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Executes receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring associates are processing efficiently and effectively.
• Engages with customers to provide an excellent experience and maintain a clean, organized store.
• Orchestrates truck delivery and prioritizes processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
• Trains and mentors associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured and coded.
• Communicates with management to ensure smooth flow of goods to sales floor.
• Monitors productivity and coaches as necessary.
• Maintains back stock organization for easy replenishment.
• Upholds signage standards and overall merchandising philosophy.
