Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Participating in hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Helping protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional, friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keeping all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, taking supervisory responsibility for all hourly associates.
• Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assisting with the receipt and return of merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Managing freight flow and maintaining stockroom organization.
• Ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
• Planning, merchandising, and maintaining clip strips and power panels with sales-effective items.
• Supporting the planning and implementation of monthly sales planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Preferred prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
