Responsibilities:

1. Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
3. Support all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
4. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Help protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
6. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
7. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
8. Maintain store areas to company standards, including recovery.
9. When the Store Manager is absent, have supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
10. Process all corporate directives and store communications.
11. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
12. Manage freight flow and meet productivity standards.
13. Assist with ordering, stocking, and maintaining the stockroom and sales floor.
14. Support planning, merchandising, and maintenance of sales-effective displays.
15. Assist with monthly sales planning and execution.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
