Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
3. Assisting with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Helping protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
6. Adhering to all policies and safety guidelines.
7. Maintaining a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
8. Maintaining store cleanliness and organization, including the stockroom and sales floor.
9. Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
10. Processing corporate directives and store communications.
11. Managing freight flow and stock replenishment.
12. Meeting or exceeding productivity standards.
13. Assisting with ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise, including refrigerated items.
14. Planning and merchandising sales-effective displays and maintaining monthly sales plans.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prefer prior retail and management experience.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
