Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Participating in hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated.
• Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing company assets, including cash.
• Adhering to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensuring store areas, stockroom, and sales floor meet company standards, including recovery.
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing directives like Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
• Assisting with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Managing freight flow and maintaining stockroom organization.
• Meeting or exceeding productivity standards.
• Assisting with ordering, stocking, and merchandising merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Planning and maintaining sales-effective displays and merchandise layouts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
