Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
3. Assisting with all store functions and daily activities as directed.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting and securing all company assets, including cash.
6. Adhering to policies and safety guidelines.
7. Maintaining a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
8. Keeping all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
9. Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
10. Processing all directives related to store activities, including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
11. Assisting with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
12. Managing freight flow and ensuring productivity standards are met or exceeded.
13. Assisting with ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
14. Maintaining stockroom organization and ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
15. Planning and merchandising with sales-effective items and assisting in monthly Sales Planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
