Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates
• Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protecting and securing store assets, including cash
• Adhering to policies and safety guidelines
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keeping store areas, stockroom, and sales floor to company standards
• Taking supervisory responsibilities for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent
• Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Managing receipt and return of merchandise and freight flow
• Meeting productivity standards and assisting with merchandise ordering and stocking
• Maintaining stockroom organization and sales floor effectiveness
• Planning and maintaining merchandising displays and sales planners

Minimum Requirements:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
