Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Help with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Support all store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist in protecting and securing all store assets, including cash.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, have supervisory responsibility over hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and store communications as delegated.
• Assist with receipt, return, and management of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Support freight flow management.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist in ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Help maintain stockroom organization.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
• Assist in planning, merchandising, and maintaining Clip Strips and Power Panels with sales items.
• Help plan and implement monthly Sales Planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
