Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates
• Performing store functions and daily activities as directed
• Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protecting company assets, including store cash
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Ensuring the store, stockroom, and sales floor meet company standards
• Taking supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent
• Processing corporate directives and store communications
• Managing receipt and return of merchandise, including DSD merchandise
• Assisting in freight flow management and stock organization
• Supporting merchandise ordering, stocking, and sales floor presentation
• Participating in planning and merchandising activities, including sales planning

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Preferred prior retail and management experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
