Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Help with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Assist with receipt and return of merchandise, manage freight flow, and ensure sales effectiveness.
• Support ordering, stocking, and organization of merchandise, including refrigerated items.
• Help plan and maintain sales floor merchandising and monthly sales strategies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
