Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
4. Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Keep all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, organized and clean.
7. When the Store Manager is not present, assume direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
8. Process all corporate directives and store communications as delegated.
9. Assist with receipt and return of merchandise, following company policies.
10. Manage freight flow and assist with ordering and stocking merchandise.
11. Maintain stockroom organization and ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
12. Plan and implement merchandising strategies, including Clip Strips and Power Panels.
13. Contribute to planning and executing monthly sales plans.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
