Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
4. Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Keep all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, organized and clean.
7. When the Store Manager is not present, assume supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
8. Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
9. Assist with receipt and return of merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
10. Support freight flow management.
11. Meet or exceed productivity standards.
12. Assist with ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
13. Maintain stockroom organization.
14. Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
15. Help plan and maintain merchandising displays like Clip Strips and Power Panels.
16. Participate in planning and implementing monthly sales strategies.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prefer prior retail and management experience.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team-oriented environment.
