Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
4. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Maintain store areas to company standards, including recovery and organization.
7. When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates.
8. Process all corporate directives and store communications.
9. Assist with receipt, return, and management of merchandise, including freight flow.
10. Meet or exceed productivity standards.
11. Support ordering and stocking of all merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
12. Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily and plan merchandising strategies.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
