Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Participating in hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated
• Supporting all store functions and daily activities
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protecting and securing company assets, including store cash
• Adhering to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keeping all store areas, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent
• Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Managing merchandise receipt and return processes
• Supporting freight flow management and stock organization
• Ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective daily
• Planning and maintaining merchandising displays and sales plans

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs of merchandise
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
