Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensure all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, meet company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all SSC corporate directives, including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
• Handle additional store-related requests and communications delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Help manage freight flow and meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist in ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Maintain stockroom organization and ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
• Plan, merchandise, and maintain Clip Strips and Power Panels with sales-effective items.
• Assist in planning and implementing monthly Sales Planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
