Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Maintain all areas of the store to company standards, including the stockroom and sales floor.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume supervisory responsibilities for all hourly associates.
• Process all SSC Corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Help manage freight flow and ensure productivity standards are met or exceeded.
• Assist with ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Maintain stockroom organization and ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
• Assist with planning, merchandising, and maintaining Clip Strips and Power Panels.
• Support the planning and implementation of monthly Sales Planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
