Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Helping with hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated.
3. Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
6. Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
7. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
8. Ensuring the store, stockroom, and sales floor meet company standards, including recovery.
9. Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is unavailable.
10. Processing all corporate directives and store communications.
11. Assisting with merchandise receipt, return, and freight flow management.
12. Meeting or exceeding productivity standards.
13. Assisting with ordering, stocking, and maintaining organization of merchandise, including refrigerated items.
14. Ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective daily and planning merchandising strategies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
