Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume supervisory responsibility for all hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and related store communications as delegated.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Help manage freight flow and meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist in ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Maintain stockroom organization and ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
• Assist in planning, merchandising, and maintaining promotional displays and sales plans.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
