Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated.
• Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Ensuring store areas, including the stockroom and sales floor, meet company standards.
• Providing direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, managing freight flow, and maintaining stockroom organization.
• Supporting the ordering and stocking of merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective daily and planning merchandise displays.
• Participating in monthly sales planning and merchandising efforts.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Preferred prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
