Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates
• Performing store functions and daily activities as directed
• Opening and closing store procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protecting company assets, including store cash
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers and staff
• Ensuring store areas meet company standards, including recovery
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent
• Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Managing receipt and return of DSD merchandise following policies
• Assisting in freight flow management
• Meeting productivity standards
• Ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise, including refrigerated items
• Organizing the stockroom and maintaining an effective sales floor
• Planning and merchandising with sales-effective items and monthly sales planners

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Ability to thrive in a high-energy, team environment
