Cherokee Federal is hiring a Physician for MEPS medical evaluations at listed U.S. locations, including Houston.

You will ensure compliance with OSHA, Privacy Act, DoD, and USMEPCOM standards, reviewing records, histories, and lab results, and guiding applicants through the medical process. Responsibilities include comprehensive in-person exams, communicating findings, and updating the applicant database, with on-site duties at MEPS locations and potential shift considerations.

Qualifications

• Must have current medical license (MD/DO) in the US or equivalent for Canada.
• Must meet DoD and USMEPCOM guidelines and obtain CAC/PIV credentials as applicable.
• FCC/DoD standards compliance and pre-employment qualifications required.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive medical evaluations per DoD standards.
• Review medical records and histories; interpret tests and determine disqualifying conditions.
• Conduct in-person exams and coordinate with consultants and waiver authorities.
• Inform applicants of abnormal findings and document in the database.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, Privacy Act, and service regulations.
