Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from US/Canada or equivalent
• Active medical license in the US
• 3 years of graduate training in the specialty or equivalent experience
• CAC or PIV preferred for access to DoD systems
• Physician must meet credentialing and privileges requirements

Responsibilities

• Ensure OSHA and Privacy Act compliance per DoD and USMEPCOM standards.
• Review medical records, histories and exams per DoD; interpret lab results.
• Evaluate diagnostic tests for disqualifying conditions with MEPS.
• Conduct comprehensive in-person histories for prescreened applicants.
• Assess injuries and disorders across body systems and perform orthopedic-neurological exams.
• Inform applicants of abnormal findings and update the medical staff database.
