Westat, Inc. seeks Field Interviewers for the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS) to conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults in households across the United States.

The position is part-time with two data collection periods each year; training in January 2027 is mandatory and some travel, including overnight stays, may be required. Qualifications

• Be 18 or older.
• Be available for mandatory web-based training in January 2027.
• Be available for mandatory in-person training and travel including overnight stays.
• Be available for post-training virtual activities and home study.

Responsibilities

• Contact households to introduce MEPS and gain cooperation.
• Set appointments and conduct interviews using Westat equipment.
• Transmit electronic data daily and complete administrative paperwork.
