Job summary

Westat is seeking motivated Field Interviewers to support the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS). You will conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults, managing appointments and collecting electronic and paper documents using a Westat laptop.

This part-time, non-exempt role runs in two data collection periods yearly, with mandatory training in January 2027 and occasional travel to local and distant households.

Qualifications

• Be 18+ or older with ability to enter confidentiality agreements.
• Complete mandatory web-based home study and Teams sessions within specified dates.
• Proven ability to travel to training and to households for interviews.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults.
• Schedule appointments, conduct interviews, and collect signed documents (electronic and paper).
• Transmit data daily and comply with data security requirements.
