Gray Construction seeks an MEP Unit Manager to lead complex, multi-site food & beverage projects in our Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX and Lexington, KY offices. You will drive profit, manage risk, and mentor project teams while coordinating with design and field operations.

The role requires a track record of managing large-scale design/build and hard bid projects, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of MEP trade integration. Travel to sites is required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of seven consecutive years total profit and loss accountability on multiple projects.
• Five years of experience managing all disciplines of design/build or hard bid projects.
• Experience with lump sum, GMP, cost plus construction management, and fee-based construction.
• Proven record in increasing project profitability across multiple projects.
• Knowledge of engineering and design disciplines to serve as primary contact with customers.

• Facilitate customer and team meetings; update minutes and action logs.
• Ensure project startup meetings occur with the right team members.
• Track and complete project action items; maintain submittal reviews and closeout docs.
• Visit project sites regularly to monitor progress.
• Develop aggressive project schedules and cost estimates for design/build industrial projects.
