Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to be on site in Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX. You will support project delivery, track progress, coordinate with subcontractors and ensure safety on site.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of related experience, plus strong teamwork, communication skills, and familiarity with scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least three years of related experience.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail applications; familiarity with scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and monitor project progress using QMS program, including scheduling, estimating and budgeting to ensure that construction of project parallels with schedule.
• Perform quantity take off, cost estimates and bid solicitation.
• Purchase and coordinate the delivery of materials for the project(s) ensuring optimum prices, quality and conformance to specifications and budget.
• Attend weekly job site meetings and assist in the preparation of reports such as monthly red files, progress analyses and status reports.
