Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Huntsville, AL is seeking a seasoned Superintendent Mechanical‑Electrical to lead and coordinate MEP trades on a demanding project. You will ensure safety, schedule adherence, quality, and budget compliance while directing assistants, engineers, interns and trade labor.

Required are a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 6+ years in mechanical/electrical/plumbing construction, with strong leadership, reading of contract docs, and BIM coordination experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering/architecture plus 6 years MEP construction experience.
• Proven leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of scheduling and cost control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate subcontractors and trade labor for mechanical/electrical systems.
• Develop and implement project schedules and recovery strategies to meet deadlines and budget.
• Manage site safety program and ensure compliance with Turner standards and codes.
• Supervise and develop junior staff and monitor performance.
• Coordinate with engineers/architects on 3D models and drawings for coordination.
• Oversee billing, payrolls and subcontractor payments for work in place.
