Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Memphis, TN seeks a seasoned Superintendent for Mechanical and Electrical systems. You will lead, coordinate and direct subcontractors and Turner trade labor to ensure safety, timely delivery, quality, and budget adherence on complex MEPS installations.

The role requires coordinating with engineers and architects, developing recovery strategies when needed, and guiding inspections, startup, commissioning, turnover, and punchlists for handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years engineering/architectural experience; minimum 6 years mechanical/electrical/plumbing construction experience.
• Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures, general contract, general conditions, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications.
• Specific knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Systems; BIM coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and coordinate work of subcontractors and Turner trade labor for MEPS systems; ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality and budget adherence.
• Supervise Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and interns as assigned; participate in performance appraisals.
• Coordinate with engineers on MEPS layouts and 3D coordination sets; ensure conformance to contract documents.
• Lead project inspections, startup, commissioning, turnover and punchlist for system acceptance.
• Maintain daily MEPS trade contractor progress records and review changes with Project Engineer.

Education
