Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced Superintendent – Mechanical-Electrical for our Atlanta project teams. You will lead and coordinate ME/MEP trades, supervise site staff, and ensure safety, quality, and adherence to budget on complex buildings.

Responsibilities include scheduling, coordination across trades, and ongoing communication with owners and design partners to resolve field issues and keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four years of formal engineering or architectural experience and a minimum of six years of mechanical/electrical/plumbing construction experience.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and staffing for ME/MEP work.
• Coordinate work among trades to promote a coordinated project operation.
• Maintain the site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner standards.
• Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and interns.
• Develop and implement recovery strategies to meet schedule and budget.
• Communicate with owners and architects/engineers on field issues.
