Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking an MEP Quality Manager I for a federal construction project in DuPont, WA. The role focuses on implementing and continually improving the Quality Management System (QMS) and project-specific quality requirements across design and construction phases.

Responsibilities include leading quality processes, mentoring staff, auditing programs, and coordinating inspections. AEC/related degree with certifications, and travel as needed, are preferred.

Qualifications

Quality management principles and project quality requirements.
Coaches, mentors and trains project staff in quality management.
Ability to monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Serve as quality champion for a project or multiple projects.
Lead and coordinate quality processes including planning, material management and documentation.
Audit and improve project quality programs using QC evaluation tools.
Direct inspection, testing and documentation of works; schedule tests with operations and clients.
Develop project-specific inspection and test plans and quality control procedures.
Manage risk and optimize costs by reducing defects and rework.
