Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking an MEP Quality Manager I for a Federal project in DuPont, WA. You will lead quality management, implement the QMS, oversee inspections, materials testing and documentation, and drive continuous improvement on the project.

Ideal candidates hold a related degree, QCM certification, and 7+ years in AEC with 3 years in quality. The role requires strong communication, limited travel, and collaboration with owners, subs and design partners.

Responsibilities

• Quality champion for a project or multiple projects, responsible for quality of works, material management, documentation and close-out.
• Coaches, mentors and trains project staff in quality mgmt principles and project-specific requirements.
• Lead quality processes such as work planning, pre-activity meetings, material management, Quality Incident Reports, Lesson Sharing and follow-up inspections.
• Establishes and reports on KPIs and QIRs for project teams to ensure continuous improvement.
• Routinely audits project quality programs and provides feedback on major QIRs and non-conformances.
• Directs inspection, testing and documentation; coordinates between operations, labs and Client.
• Creates project-specific inspection/test plans and quality control plans; reviews materials specs and concrete mix design.
