Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure quality across all project phases from inception through turnover. You will participate in commissioning, turnover activities, and root-cause analyses related to MEP systems on mission-critical projects.

You will review documents for errors, generate startup and testing reports, and perform site audits to uphold safety and quality standards. Travel to project sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Three years of related experience required.
• Experience in Construction Project Management focusing on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Attention to detail with the ability to handle a variety of project tasks.
• Ability to travel as needed for project success.
• Knowledge of complex data center MEP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Capture and share lessons learned with suppliers and project teams.
• Support commissioning, punch list, and turnover activities.
• Recommend effective corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances and quality issues.
• Attend factory witness tests for OFCI and CFCI equipment and systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis to resolve quality issues.
• Review construction documents for errors and omissions to ensure QC.
• Generate startup reports documenting equipment readiness.
• Manage testing of mechanical, electrical, and control systems and submit related docs.
• Conduct routine job site audits and walks for quality and safety compliance.
• Attend required safety training and adhere to site safety regulations.
