Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure that all phases of our mission-critical projects, including those by subcontractors, meet quality standards from inception through turnover.

You will capture lessons learned, support commissioning and turnover, and lead root cause analyses to resolve quality issues while reviewing construction documents for errors and omissions. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Three years of related experience.
• Previous experience in Construction Project Management focusing on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering (MEP) systems is required.
• Attention to detail with the ability to handle a variety of project tasks.
• Ability to travel as needed for project success.

Responsibilities

• Capture and share lessons learned with suppliers and project teams.
• Support commissioning, punch list, and turnover activities.
• Recommend effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions for project non-conformances and quality issues.
• Attend factory witness tests for OFCI/CFCI equipment and systems.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify, resolve, and implement solutions to quality issues.
• Provide Quality Control by reviewing Construction Documents for errors and omissions.
• Generate startup reports to document equipment readiness.
• Manage mechanical, electrical, and control systems testing and submit all related documentation.
• Conduct routine job site audits and site walks to ensure quality installations, compliance with codes, and adherence to safety requirements.
• Attend required safety training and comply with company and site safety regulations and requirements.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
