Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. seeks a Quality Engineer to ensure quality from inception through turnover on mission-critical projects. You will review construction documents, support commissioning, and drive corrective actions for quality issues.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 3+ years in construction PM with MEP focus, travel as needed, and strong root-cause/QC skills. Data center MEP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline required.
• Three years of related experience required.
• Previous experience in Construction Project Management focusing on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems required.
• Attention to detail with ability to handle a variety of project tasks.
• High level of professionalism and integrity.
• Ability to travel as needed for project success.
• Knowledge of complex data center MEP Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Capture and share lessons learned with suppliers and project teams.
• Support commissioning, punch list, and turnover activities.
• Recommend effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances and quality issues.
• Attend factory witness tests for OFCI and CFCI equipment and systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify, resolve, and implement solutions to quality issues.
• Provide Quality Control by reviewing Construction Documents for errors and omissions.
• Generate startup reports to document equipment readiness.
• Manage mechanical, electrical, and control systems testing and submit all related documentation, including testing and calibration reports and turnover packages.
• Conduct routine job site audits and site walks to ensure quality installations, compliance with codes, and adherence to safety requirements.
