Job summary

Samuel Knight International is seeking an MEP Coordinator to drive coordination across data center builds, aligning mechanical, electrical and plumbing aspects from design through commissioning. You will lead model development, conduct clash detection and coordination meetings, review drawings and submittals for constructability, and ensure installation proceeds on schedule with RFIs resolved.

The role requires strong leadership to coordinate multiple trades and a proactive approach to risk

Qualifications

• 3+ years of MEP coordination experience in commercial construction.
• Mission-critical or data center experience strongly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of BIM coordination software and model-based workflows.
• Solid understanding of critical power and cooling systems and how they are installed.
• Confident chairing coordination meetings and holding trade partners to deadlines.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related field preferred.
• OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

n established general contractor with a secured pipeline of hyperscale and mission-critical projects is looking for an MEP Coordinator to drive mechanical, electrical and plumbing coordination across its data center builds.

Coordination sets the pace on these projects. Get it right up front and the installation runs clean through to commissioning, which makes this a role with genuine influence on delivery and a direct route into MEP management.
