Job summary

McKinstry in Seattle, WA is seeking a Project Manager for the Prime MEP division to drive strategies, goals, and execution ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

You will coordinate resources, manage schedules and costs, and guide the project team from design through construction to closeout, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Five years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with scheduling software: Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
• Experience working for a General Contractor or Major Mechanical Subcontractor preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Basic estimating skills.
• Proficient with construction financial programs and software such as Procore and Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies, goals, and objectives for projects to ensure delivery on time and on budget with high client satisfaction.
• Coordinate resources and communicate with stakeholders throughout construction.
• Manage project plans, schedules, and scopes of work.
• Oversee subcontractor billing and change orders, and assist business development with proposals.
