Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Prime MEP division, developing strategies, goals, and objectives to deliver projects on time and on budget with high client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include coordinating resources, managing plans, schedules, change orders, and subcontractor billing, while ensuring safety and quality across phases. The role emphasizes collaboration with owners, architects, and engineers, plus business development support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Five (5) years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with scheduling software: Microsoft Project and/or Primavera required.
• Experience working for a General Contractor or Major Mechanical Subcontractor preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
• Proficient with construction financial programs and software such as Procore and Autodesk Construction Cloud preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify required resources to achieve project goals.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules and scopes of work.
• Communicate with the General Contractor, Architect, Engineer, Owner, and other stakeholders.
• Assist the business development team in responding to requests for proposal and bid process.
• Ensure site safety and compliance for subcontractors and personnel.
• Monitor, control and report on the financial performance of projects.
