Job summary

Yates Construction is hiring an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scope of complex commercial projects in Texas. You will drive performance by coordinating design, procurement, and field teams to deliver on time and within budget while safeguarding client satisfaction.

As primary site leader you will manage trades, safety programs, QA/QC, and stakeholder communications, oversee subcontractors, and help develop recovery plans when needed, always

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years construction management experience.
• Experience in managing trades valued at $50MM.
• Experience with large / complex safety plan implementation.
• PMP certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety program administration for the project.
• Ensure subs have materials and equipment to construct the project.
• Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to meet schedule.
• Perform QA/QC to meet project specs and Yates quality standards.
• Prepare and communicate daily progress reports to stakeholders.
• Conduct site walkthroughs to maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Identify and resolve field and design issues.
• Lead meetings to coordinate work and manage labor.
• Represent site team in owners’ meetings.
• Develop and maintain the site logistics plan with the General Superintendent.
• Develop scopes of work for each subcontractor.
• Conduct constructability reviews.
• Arrange preconstruction meetings with subs.
• Track progress against plan and assist recovery planning.
• Ensure QA/QC aligns with the project QA program.
• Schedule and lead project close-out.
• Coordinate punch list items and permit process.
