Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Manager - MEP to lead the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and related systems on mission-critical projects in Texas.

You will coordinate field teams, review drawings and specs, and drive installation quality and schedule adherence. Collaborating with project leadership, engineers, inspectors, and clients, you will identify and resolve field conflicts, manage contractors, and ensure compliance with codes, safety standards, and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant construction experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated experience managing MEP construction activities on large, complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, and building systems installation and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, controls, and related building systems throughout construction.
• Review MEP drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and construction documents to support proper installation and identify potential conflicts.
• Direct and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, engineers, inspectors, suppliers, and other project personnel to maintain project objectives.
• Develop and manage MEP construction activities in alignment with overall project schedules, milestones, staffing requirements, and sequencing.
• Monitor installation progress and address issues that could affect schedule, cost, quality, safety, or system performance.
• Conduct field inspections to verify MEP installations conform to drawings, specifications, codes, and quality standards.
