Job summary

Yates Construction Co. is seeking an experienced Sr. MEP Project Manager to lead mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on complex commercial projects in Georgia.

You will drive planning, coordination, and installation while coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to schedule and budget. The role requires deep MEP knowledge, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering projects safely and to high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience managing MEP projects in large commercial or industrial settings.
• Proficiency with Procore and Primavera.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE and related codes.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and coordination of all MEP systems installation and integration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to fully understand MEP requirements and project goals.
• Develop and manage the MEP portion of the project schedule, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction managers to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
• Oversee procurement and delivery of MEP materials and equipment, ensuring timely availability.
• Manage subcontractors to ensure cost-effective and efficient execution within the timeline.
• Supervise MEP teams and field staff, providing leadership and guidance to maintain high standards.
• Conduct regular safety, quality, and progress reviews; resolve conflicts and ensure adherence to plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation, manage change orders, and monitor project budgets.
