EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a Preconstruction Engineer to support mechanical construction estimates and proposals from concept to award.

You will work with estimating, operations, engineering, owners, architects, engineers, vendors, and subs to develop accurate scopes, budgets, and pricing strategies for diverse commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate has strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a drive to contribute to successful project development before

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Responsabilités

• Review project drawings, specifications, addenda, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and associated equipment.
• Assist in the preparation of conceptual, budgetary, design-build, GMP, and hard-bid estimates.
• Develop labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and vendor pricing for project estimates.
• Solicit, evaluate, and analyze vendor and subcontractor quotations for scope, completeness, and competitiveness.
• Participate in project walkthroughs, pre-bid meetings, design coordination meetings, and client presentations.
• Identify potential scope gaps, constructability concerns, value engineering opportunities, and project risks.
• Prepare estimate summaries, pricing analyses, bid packages, proposal documents, and presentation materials.
