Job summary

ARCO/Murray is seeking an entry-level Engineer to join our MEP team in Downers Grove, IL. You will work alongside project managers and other MEP designers to deliver mechanical, electrical, and plumbing solutions for complex facilities.

The role focuses on design support, coordination, and documentation, with opportunity to develop expertise in industrial, life sciences, and manufacturing environments. A strong foundation in engineering principles is essential.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.2/4.0 minimum.
• Currently enrolled in Bachelor's or Master’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Internship experience is a plus.
• Extracurricular involvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design of MEP systems for large-scale buildings (industrial, life sciences, manufacturing, commercial).
• Review construction drawings and specifications for MEP systems from schematic to CD phases.
• Assist in the development of construction documents.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to determine system requirements and ensure code compliance.
• Review shop drawings for compliance with specifications and contract documents.
