Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking MEP Engineering Interns to join our 2027 Internship Program.

As an intern, you'll work alongside experienced engineers, gaining exposure to real building design projects and learning how mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems come together to support high-performing spaces across industries. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in professional development, and contribute to projects prioritizing sustainability and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or graduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and enrolled full-time in a nationally accredited program.
• At least one year of college completed; rising sophomores eligible.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering projects.
• Assist with technical calculations, drawings, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Gain exposure to real-world projects across a variety of industries, emphasizing energy efficiency and performance.
• Participate in intern program activities and professional development.
