Tom Green & Company Engineers in Austin, TX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (EIT) to design building HVAC and plumbing systems under PE guidance, perform load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork and piping, schedules and specs. You will also support forensic investigations and site visits, helping assess existing buildings for renovations.

Qualificações

• A passed FE exam or EIT certification, with PE in sight over the next year or two.
• A few years of hands-on building mechanical design at an MEP or A/E firm.
• Load calculation software and Revit or AutoCAD.
• Curiosity about why systems fail, and the ability to work in our Austin office.

Responsabilidades

• Design building HVAC and plumbing systems under PE review, including load calcs, equipment selection, ductwork and piping, schedules and specs.
• Support forensic investigations and assess existing buildings for renovations and repairs.
• Occasionally visit job sites to verify that designs are implemented correctly.
• As you earn your PE, take on ownership of your own projects.
