Tom Green & Company Engineers (TGCE) in Austin, TX seeks an MEP Mechanical Engineer (PE) to own the mechanical design from schematic through construction administration, including load calculations, equipment selection, and drawings stamped by you. You will lead forensic analysis and field investigations on projects.

Ideal candidates will have 5–20 years of HVAC and plumbing design experience, a Texas PE (or transfer), and comfort working in our Austin office on site.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PE license (or Texas comity transfer)
• 5–20 years designing building HVAC and plumbing systems at an MEP or A/E firm
• Projects owned end-to-end with ASHRAE standards and codes
• Comfort in the field and in the Austin office

Responsabilités

• Own the mechanical design from schematic design through construction administration: load calculations, equipment selection, air and hydronic systems, plumbing, and drawings stamped by you
• Lead technical analysis on forensic cases and inspect existing buildings for renovations/repairs
• Spend real time on job sites and maintain production responsibility at all levels of experience
